If you’re like me you’ll love these simple and savvy work accessories.
I love finding new ways to work smarter, not harder. So it’s no surprise that in my digital marketing career I’ve collected a few gadgets to make my job not only more fun, but more efficient. In this blog post, I’m sharing with you a few of my top tech accessories & organizational tools for a clutch work from home environment. Let’s get started!

Daily Planner // Webcam Cover // USB-C + USB Wall Plug // iPhone Tripod // Bag with USB Port // Air Pods // Reusable and Sustainable Notebook // Lap Desk
Daily Planner | We can all be more organized. This daily planner is great for helping me create lists of action items I need to tackle throughout the day and for keeping me on track. What I love most about it is that it’s straight to the point and easy for me to carry around. That’s because it’s basically a stack of tear-off sheets which is great for lightening the load when you have a mobile office. I used to purchase a fancy planner from a popular brand but let’s be real: sometimes I wouldn’t use it. I love that this one is undated so it makes it easy for me to maximize its usage (no blank weeks going to waste!)
Webcam Cover | The best purchase I made in 2020 was this. At only $7, it comes in a pack of two and is made to protect your privacy when not recording a video or on a zoom call. Simply attach it to your webcam, and press firmly for 15 seconds for a strong hold. For the last 10 years I’ve hidden my webcam with hundreds of neon colored post-its, so this minimal, aesthetically pleasing design is a winner in my book.
USB-C + USB Wall Plug | This multifunctional USB wall outlet has 3 smart USB charging ports (1 USB C ) and 6 AC outlet plugs with a built-in surge protector. It supports up to 9 electric devices simultaneously, perfect for your cell phone, iPad, laptop, desk lamp, camera, air pods and more. If you get tired of unplugging and plugging in a different cord to charge a device every few hours, this is for you. No need to unplug your phone charger to plug in your laptop charger. This thing is 🔥 and efficient.
iPhone Tripod | I’ve purchased over a dozen of tripods throughout my career and this one is the lightest and most convenient one I have. The iPhone Tripod is adjustable with with 180° neck rotation & 360° head rotation to help you find the perfect angle. If you don’t have an Instagram husband to take your pictures, I recommend this to help you photograph yourself without the inconvenience of having to set up a timer. That’s because it comes with a handy remote shutter that allows you to be your own photographer. The only challenge you’ll have is mastering how to hide the remote from the frame. You’re on your own there. 😅 It also comes with a GoPro adapter, a universal phone holder and a carrying case. I love using it to shoot videos and lifestyle content with the family. And it’s extremely light which makes toting it easy.
Bag with USB Port | Where was this bag back in 2015 when the rise in wearable tech was all over the runway? I was looking for a laptop bag that was both fashionable and functional. And after comparing a few on Amazon I landed on this one.
Air Pods | I used to think Air Pods were overrated until I gave them a try. They’re the perfect work companion when you share your home office with your SO. Also, now that I have a newborn they’re great for keeping up with social media without interrupting his sleep.
Reusable & Sustainable Notebook | This environmentally-friendly 80-page dotted grid notebook can be re-used by simply microwaving it! I love, love love this thing. The best part? Once you’re finishing writing, you can blast your handwritten notes to popular cloud services like Google drive, Dropbox, Evernote, box, OneNote, Slack, iCloud, email and more using the free Rocketbook application for iOS and Android.
Lap Desk | Another favorite item I bought to WFH comfortably. I usually take it out in the afternoons when I’m tired from sitting at my desk all day. This minimal lap desk has everything I need to prop my laptop in bed while working from home. (I’m using it right now. 😛 ) It comes in six different colorways and has a slot for your iPhone as well as a mousepad.
